Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for your personal data under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) is the company named in the company details box. Send any question about your data to the email in that box.

What data we collect

The order form collects two things: your name and your phone number. With each request we also record the IP address, the date and time, the page you came from and any advertising tags in the link, such as the UTM tags of a campaign.

You give your delivery address to the operator on the confirmation call. We never collect card numbers, bank details, mobile money PINs or one-time codes.

Why we use your data

Your data is used to handle the order you asked for: the confirmation call, dispatch, delivery and any questions afterwards. Section 20 of Act 843 allows this processing with your consent, which you give when you send the form, and where it is needed for a contract you are a party to.

The IP address and the advertising tags help us filter out fake requests and see which campaigns bring real orders. We do not build marketing profiles, we do not take automated decisions about you, and we do not knowingly accept orders from anyone under 18.

Who receives your data

Your order data goes to the distributor of the product in Ghana, which makes the confirmation call and arranges dispatch, and to the courier that brings the parcel. Each one receives only the data it needs for its part of the order.

The company that runs the site is based outside Ghana, so your data may also be processed abroad, under the same safeguards set out in this policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own advertising. Section 40 of Act 843 requires your prior written consent for direct marketing, and we send none without it.

How long we keep your data

Section 24 of Act 843 allows data to be kept only as long as its purpose requires, unless a law requires longer. Data from a completed order is kept while the order and any after-delivery questions are handled, then for the period tax and accounting rules require. Data from requests that were never confirmed is deleted or made anonymous once it has served its purpose.

Your rights over your data

Under Act 843 you can ask whether we hold data about you and get a description of it (section 32), have inaccurate, out-of-date or unlawfully obtained data corrected or deleted (section 33), and object to its processing (section 20). Under section 39 you can require us in writing to stop processing that causes you damage or distress, and we reply in writing within 21 days.

Send your request to the email in the company details box, with the phone number you used on the order form so we can find your records. If our answer does not settle the matter, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Cookies

The site uses only technical cookies that the pages and the order form need to work. None of them follow you for advertising.
